One of Israel's most distinguished economics professors, specializing in risk management and futures & options trading. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tel Aviv University, he completed his doctoral studies at Harvard University as a scholarship recipient. As an academic, he has taught at Boston University, Columbia University, Tel Aviv University, and Bar-Ilan University. Professor Rafi has published over 30 academic papers in prestigious economics journals and has authored specialized books in his field.

As part of Orbotech's (NASDAQ: ORBK) global management team, he was based in Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Brussels, and served as President of Orbotech Japan. Since 2007, he has also been active as an entrepreneur, joining the founding teams of Ayehu Software Technologies Ltd. (exited in 2020) and Vcodes CPS Ltd. (www.vcodes.tv). He contributed to the strategic planning, sales, and fundraising initiatives for both companies. As CEO of Blue I Water Technologies Ltd.
